It has come to our notice that certain individuals or parties without the knowledge or authorization of SBI General have been making unsolicited commercial calls, sending SMS and/or spurious emails to our Policyholders and also to the members of the public, purportedly on behalf of SBI General.
SBI General is committed to the strictest adherence to all regulatory requirements (including the provisions of the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2010). We have robust procedures in place to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including telemarketing. We stand committed to initiate civil or criminal action against any individual or party who breaches the regulatory requirements or our commitments, causing any adverse impact (or even causing a potential adverse impact) to and tarnishes the image of SBI General.
