As mandated by the law, a third-party insurance policy is necessary if you own a commercial vehicle, such as a goods-carrying vehicle or one that carries passengers, such as a taxi, school bus, etc. Said policy insures financial protection for your trade and your vehicle from losses and damages caused by or to your vehicle and the parties involved.

Passenger A carrying vehicle- is any commercial vehicle that helps people transport from one place to another. Examples of this include school buses, cabs, and taxis.
A good-carrying vehicle- as the name suggests, is a type of commercial vehicle primarily used for the transportation of goods from one place to another, such as a truck or lorry.
Miscellaneous and special type of vehicle- any vehicle other than passenger- and goods-carrying vehicles are considered to be in the special type or miscellaneous vehicle category. This could include vehicles used during construction, ambulances, etc.
