This policy is ideal for individuals and business owners who wish to hedge their risks of any business-related third-party liabilities, wherein they may have to compensate third-party for their losses. It also helps policyholders comply with the laws mandated under the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.

      • Damage to the vehicle (Own Vehicles) up to an amount of Rs. 50,000/- for any one accident

      • Property damage excluding damage to vehicles up to an amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- for any one accident

      • Property damage excluding damage to vehicles up to an amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- for any one accident 
      • Coverage

      • Loss or damage to own vehicles: The policy covers an amount of Rs. 50,000/- against any loss or damage caused to own vehicle or its accessories due to accidental, external and visible means and occurring in or on the premises insured. 
      • Liability for third party bodily injury / death: protects against any legal liability arising because of the vehicle, towards third parties for bodily injury / death of a person.  
      • Loss or damage to third party vehicles: The policy covers an amount of Rs. 1, 50,000/- against any loss or damage caused to third party vehicle or its accessories due to accidental, external and visible means and occurring in or on the premises insured.

        Open air car parks


      • Open air car parks adjoining outside premises as given for insurance may be covered under scope of this cover with some additional premium.  

        More than one Premises 


      • Any other premises owned by the Insured which is within 450 meters by road also may be covered under this Policy with additional premium.  
      • Any loss/damage to the vehicle and/or its accessories will not be covered if caused by the following- 

      • Normal wear, tear and general ageing of the vehicle  
      • Depreciation or any consequential loss 
      • Mechanical/ electrical breakdown 
      • Loss / damage due to war, mutiny or nuclear risk 
      • Failures or breakage nor for damage caused by overloading or strain 
      • Damage to tyres by application of brakes or by punctures, cuts or burst

If you are in business of Motor Trade selling new cars of any specific manufacturer, you will need to obtain insurance for unregistered vehicles kept at show room or at warehouse or during transit from warehouse to show room within a specified radius as defined in policy.

It doesn't matter what size the business is. There are no restrictions on the type of Motor Trade business covered by the insurance.

    1) Accidental death of or bodily injury to any person other than a person in the Insured's service or a member of the Insured's family or household.

    2) Accidental damage to

  • (a) any insured vehicle (including its accessories whilst thereon) held in trust by or in the custody or control of the insured.
  • (b) other property not belonging to or held in trust by or in the custody or control of the Insured occurring in on or about the premises through the negligence.

  • (a) for loss of use, depreciation, wear and tear, mechanical or electrical breakdown, failures,breakages.
  • (b) for damage to tyres by the application of brakes or by punctures, cuts, or bursts.
